Air interlayers between the conductor and the dielectric can significantly reduce the "capacitor" effect.
The signal energy does not accumulate in the dielectric, does not introduce phase changes
in the ratio of the frequencies that make up the signal.
The propagation speed of the signal in the conductor is faster than that of conventional wires.
The surface of the conductor is polished for better dielectric adhesion.
The basic principle in the construction of our acoustic cable can be formulated in the words:
Moderate "design" - just the necessary constructive. Nothing superfluous - just sound. Nothing else is needed.
PE-RA Acoustics speaker cable is supplied in a "cold" state - in order for it to reach its operating characteristics, a certain "warm-up (Burn In)" period is required on the working signal. I cannot say "exactly how much" - apparently, it depends on the signal strength at which the cable operates during the warm-up period.

Cables Filum Princeps this is a separate song ... I don't even have an explanation why this happens ... On classical and "heavy" music, the acoustics just start to tear the surrounding space to shreds - the energy of sound, paired with high resolution - this is a serious thing ... Not for weak nerves. On classical music, become commonplace. All small "roughness" and major claims that you have made to your acoustics all your life disappear without a trace. I repeat once again - I have no explanation for this, only the result ...
Are characterized by the lowest equivalent dielectric constant and, therefore, electric capacitance. The smaller the contact area of the conductor with the insulator, the higher the quality of the transmitted signal.
High frequency cable core insulation belongs to the highest class of symmetrical cable insulation.
Since the diameter of the cord is approximately 2/3 of the diameter of the conductive core, the cord frame provides the largest, moreover, stable air gap between the conductive core and the insulating tube.

Cables FILUM MISTRAL The sound is extremely focused over the entire range,
excellent resolution and smoothness of sound delivery throughout the entire range, the HF register acquires
a crystal-silky shade, which seems to be about to crackle! ... But, this does not happen and the next musical event completes
its elegant turn in space and time... Acoustics begins to "breathe" on the listener.

Shielded cable of Mediocris series. Connection plug is possible on both sides of the cable (optional).
Determine the directionality of the cable. cable with low skin effect. In this version, only the material that you take as conductors, copper, silver-plated copper or silver, will affect the color of the sound. Because the conductor is insulated about 80% with air.
The smaller the contact area of the conductor with the insulator, the higher the quality of the transmitted signal. High frequency cable core insulation belongs to the highest class of symmetrical cable insulation.
These are corded - polystyrene, corded - paper, corded - polyethylene. It is based on a thread - a cord made of the appropriate material. An insulating tube is formed on top of the cordelet - either by spiral wrapping with a tape from a polystyrene film with a thickness of 0.05 mm or from cable paper with a thickness of 0.12 mm, or by extruding polyethylene.
Since the diameter of the cord is approximately 2/3 of the diameter of the conductive core, the cord frame provides the largest, moreover, stable air gap between the conductive core and the insulating tube.

The effect of "ordering" any electrical signal when passing through an ordered crystal lattice of the conductor is inherent in any cable in the audio path and PE-RA Acoustics cable demonstrates this phenomenon to the maximum. In the audio period, when testing cables, it was repeatedly noted that the sound with an expensive cable is much more interesting than when using a zero-length jumper. In active cascades of audio equipment, the audio signal acquires a considerable "chaotic" component, which is eliminated when the signal passes through the ordered crystal lattice of the conductor. Most likely (I am of this opinion) the sonic properties of the CONDUCTOR of cables are completely determined by the degree of homogeneity (purity of the metal) and spatial ordering of its crystal lattice (in other words, its internal structure).

These custom built speaker cables will be made with Canare's 4s11 Star-Quad 4-conductor cable.
There are a few benefits to using 4 conductor wire. Some of the benefits include lower noise interference and a more flexible cable.
Braided sleeving: "ViaBlue" Blue and black tight weave braided sleeving.
Banana Plugs: These cables are terminated with PE-RA Acoustics Series 24k gold plated banana plugs.
We use these plugs on my own cables and I think they're a great value.
